"It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of our good friend and TDXS member, Larry McCollum, W5PTJ. Larry was an avid DXer and an active club member. Not one to be a passive observer, Larry's accomplishments as an Amateur, and more importantly, his contributions to the community, speak for themselves as a testimonial to this really super person. All of us express our sincerest condolences to his wife, Bobbie. We will miss Larry, and even though he is now a silent key, he won't ever be forgotten."
